Welcome to Alvaro Serrano, our recently engaged Panamanian communications’ expert!

Alvaro is Operations’ Manager introducing all of PT’s products and services to the western provinces of Panama. He brings with him a degree in Computer Engineering and ten years’ experience in high-tech environments.

Alvaro will work with CEO David Veilleux introducing PT’s Compello IP centrex system to Central America’s biggest commercial hub—Panama. PT also has a presence in San Jose, Costa Rica and we look forward to bringing more of this technology to Panama’s major centres over the next few months.

Dave has left headquarters in Edmonton to work with Alvaro and expects to return to western Canada as soon as our new team member is fully trained. He has a solid background in VoIP technology so it should not be long before Alvarro’s understanding of PT’s processes matches his enthusiasm for coming on board.

Fully bilingual (Spanish/English), Alvaro is also excited about bringing our bundled communications’ packages (internet, VoiP and fax) to ex-pat enclaves in the Panamanian highlands. Planet Telecom already has an office in La Concepcion and has now expanded to the country’s second-largest city, David.
